Stow on the Wold RFC - 22nd to 27th May

The meet took place during National Camping Week, so I thought members might like to know our statistics which will be added to the national totals.

During the weekend we had 96 adults (no children this year), camping for a total of 216 nights.
18 caravans, 31 motorhomes, 1 tent and 3 trailer tents.

The weather was kind for the first three days and some even had their evening meal outside on Saturday evening.

We then had almost continuous rain and strong winds for Sunday and Monday.
In spite of the wet conditions most seemed to enjoy themselves and after the workshops came to tell us what they had learned as they passed the stewards awning.

In spite of the mud everyone was able to get off the field on Tuesday.

During the weekend we gained 1 new member for the Camping and Caravanning Club and 4 for the Photo Group.
We hope to see them all again later in the year.
